The Tunturi T60 is a good, reliable quality running machine with excellent warranty for peace of mind. It has enough features for a challenging training programme to keep you motivated. It has some nice innovative touches like the hands - free speed control and race function. If you're going to spend over £1, 000 on a mill you want to be sure you getting quality and reliability, with Tunturi you get both.

This is a useful function as it allows you to change speed by waving your hand over the sensor and therefore keeps disruption to your running stride to a minimum.
It comes with 20 built - in pre - set programmes that are all scaleable which in effect you can create thousands of levels to train. There are 2 standard fitness tests so you can measure your progress, plus the option of setting your own personalised programmes. We liked the race function - you compete against a virtual runner - as this helps you to see how far you're progressing and there's no harm in introducing a competitive element to your training.
As with most machines in this price range it has a heart rate controlled programme that alters the speed of the belt according to your pulse. This helps to keep you training at optimum levels for maximum benefits for your fitness and burning off the fat! Tunturi heart monitors have a good reputation when it comes to accuracy and the T60 comes with a chest strap so you can continue to train without having to hold the grips which are not as accurate.
Our reviewers found it quiet in operation and the controls easy to use aided by the hands - free speed control. The comfort factor also scored highly as it has a good - sized running deck and an excellent feel thanks to the shock absorbent T - Flex system. Whilst the machine felt stable one review reported a slight side - ways sway of the console at top speeds, mind you, he is a bit on the heavy side although some way under the maximum user weight of 300lbs.
